Traditional insurance-based doctors only allow patients an average of seven minutes of face time with them. Our annual membership approach allows flexible access to your physician, a high standard of care, and peace of mind knowing your healthcare provider has your best interest at heart. We tailor the treatment plan to your individual needs and help achieve your health goals. 


Direct Specialty Care Membership is an alternative payment model to insurance, so our office does not file insurance claims for you. You may be able to submit claims to your insurance directly for some visits if your insurance plan offers out-of-network benefits. We will provide a superbill receipt for your visits upon request. Patients on Medicare (after 3/31/2025), Medicaid or Tricare may not file a claim as Dr. Sinclair has opted-out of these government health plans. You may use HSA or FSA as your plan allows. Although we offer discounted labs and pelvic ultrasounds, you may opt to have these services billed to your insurance if done at an outside location.


 

  • Up to 12 requested appointments/year with the doctor. 
  • A full yearly physical exam 
  • Annual Labs with annual physical (CBC, CMP, HgbA1C, Lipid Profile, TSH, free T3, free T4, Vitamin D, and Vitamin B12)
  • Menopausal Management (does not include labs, medication, or pellets)
  • Hormone Replacement Therapy (does not include labs, medication, or pellets)
  • Gynecology (evaluation and management of irregular bleeding, incontinence, endometriosis, PCOS, migraine management, PMS, osteoporosis, breast cancer risk assessment and prevention, contraceptive counseling and management, STI prevention counseling, STI treatment)
  • Vaginal Infections
  • Urinary Tract Infections
  • Thyroid management
  • Cholesterol management
  • Integrative/Functional Medicine: Gut Health, Adrenal Health
  • Sexual Health 
  • Intimacy/sex counseling
  • Weight loss/Obesity Medicine
  • Nutritional counseling
  • Telemedicine Visits
  • Extended and relaxed visits from 30-60 minutes

  • Option to use your insurance for any lab tests that are ordered outside of the annual exam

  • 25% discount on in-office procedures including pelvic ultrasound, IUD placement/removal, colposcopy, hysteroscopy, vulvar biopsy, endometrial biopsy, and hormone pellet placement.
  • Discounted injections -  Vitamin B12
  • 10% discount on supplements 
  • Discounted hormone labs for initial evaluation and follow-up
  • 10% discount on Spectracell Micronutrient testing
  • 25% discount on additional labs/pathology


 

The model benefits both patients and physicians. Because we are not tied to the fee-for-service model (which expects us to see a higher volume of patients daily), the doctor can spend more individual time with each patient. The practice accepts fewer patients so we can develop stronger relationships with patients, allowing for a more comprehensive, personalized approach. Patients can see their physician the same or next day an urgent appointment is needed. Typically patients in a Direct Specialty Care practice have better health outcomes and are more satisfied. We can provide more outstanding personalized care, serve as your advocate, and decrease healthcare costs overall.


We encourage you to consider the amount of money you’ll spend out-of-pocket (premiums, copays, deductibles, etc.) in an average year for your healthcare needs. Here you will have timely, flexible access to the personalized care you want. We will address chronic illness, family history of illness or concerns about your health that you have not had time to discuss at your other visits. You will get expert advice about preventative measures you should take to reduce your risk of illness. Our integrative, functional medicine approach helps you problem solve and discover real solutions. Sometimes, the money you spend to prevent illness results in money saved should you become sick and require extensive or long-term treatment. In fact, studies have shown that patients who belonged to a membership medicine practice had fewer urgent care/emergency department visits and fewer in-patient admissions than those who did not. Unfortunately, insurance coverage does not always translate to excellent care. 


For women who wish to continue to see me for menopause/perimenopause, sexual health, breast health, annual gynecologic exams or other specific women’s health/gynecologic concerns, I will continue to offer consults through this transition. Please realize that participating in the membership model gives you a huge advantage of having access and seeing Dr. Sinclair more frequently at a reduced fee as opposed to paying per visit. Please call our office to inquire on specific pricing. You may use your insurance for any covered tests that are ordered.


Patients can cancel their membership at any time by providing the office with a 30-day written cancellation notice.
